Terms & Conditions
By booking a sailing charter with Sail Moondrift, you agree to the following terms:
1. Booking & Payment
All bookings must be paid in full at the time of reservation unless otherwise specified. A confirmed booking secures your date and time.
2. Arrival & Timing
Guests are expected to arrive on time at the specified departure time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened experience or forfeiture of the booking without refund. Note - allow time for parking! It's a short 0.3 mile walk from the parking lot to the Townlanding wharf.
3. Weather & Safety
The Captain reserves the right to cancel or modify any charter due to unsafe weather or conditions. In such cases, guests will be offered a reschedule or full refund.
4. Captain’s Authority
All charters are operated under the authority of the vessel’s Captain. For safety reasons, the Captain may terminate a trip without refund if guests engage in unsafe, illegal, or disruptive behavior.
5. Guest Responsibility
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Sail Moondrift is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
6. Alcohol & Conduct
Responsible alcohol consumption may be permitted at the Captain’s discretion. No illegal substances are allowed onboard.
7. Liability Waiver
By participating, guests acknowledge that sailing involves inherent risks and agree to release Sail Moondrift, its owners, and operators from liability for injury, loss, or damage except where prohibited by law.
8. Damage to Vessel
Guests may be held responsible for any damage caused to the vessel or equipment due to negligence or misuse.
Cancellations
We understand plans can change. Here’s how we handle it:

Cancellations made 72 hours or more before your scheduled sail: Full refund.

Cancellations made less than 72 hours before departure: Non-refundable.

Rescheduling requests: Allowed up to 24 hours before your scheduled sail, subject to availability.

No-shows: Non-refundable and not eligible for rescheduling.
If Sail Moondrift cancels due to weather or safety concerns, you will receive the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Privacy
Sail Moondrift respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
When you make a booking, we may collect personal information including your name, email address, phone number, and payment details.

3. Booking & Payment Processing (Third-Party Services)
We use Wix and its booking tools (Wix Bookings) to manage reservations and process payments.
Your information may be collected, processed, and stored through Wix’s systems in accordance with their privacy and security practices. Payment information is processed securely through Wix’s payment providers, and Sail Moondrift does not store full credit card details.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share your information only with trusted third-party service providers (such as Wix) as necessary to operate our business or comply with legal obligations.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill your booking and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
6. Cookies & Website Data
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies through Wix to enhance user experience and analyze site performance.
7. Photo & Media Consent
From time to time, Sail Moondrift may capture photos or videos during charters for promotional and marketing purposes (such as use on our website, social media, or marketing materials).
By participating in a charter, you grant Sail Moondrift permission to use images or video in which you may appear, without compensation, unless you notify us otherwise.
If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please inform the Captain prior to departure, and we will respect your request.
8. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
